Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is a new test conducted by AICTE. CMAT started from 2012 onwards to replace CET in Maharashtra and other state level MBA entrance exams.

AICTE’s CMAT, which was lately announced, has not seen any positive response from the b-schools so far. The registration process for CMAT 2012 had already begun from December 9, 2011 and will continue till January 9, 2012.
