query regarding eligibility for phd in management

Hi , I have done PGDM from EMPI B School , and then worked with ICICI Bank for 3 years,,,now I am working as Asst professor in a private university but it is not very renowned one, and salary is also not that great plus working hrs are like corporate ones ...i have taken it just to start my academic career, I want to start my Phd but confused about eligibility as I am PGDM, please help me to make a career in academics and suggest me courses that i can persue to get a good institute and a good salary.

The basic eligibility for Phd in Management is an MBA degree from a UGC or AICTE recognizrd university. PGDM is not considered for phd.
