Improving English for CAT is a continuous process that you would do well to start from now.

Unlike the other sections, to have repeated questions from the previous papers is rare. But it is still helpful to get the tone of the paper and the questions.

Reading newspapers and appreciating the way it is written is one way of going about it. Familiarize yourself with words. Keep them in the back of your mind. you don't have to use them in conversations. For example the term "vicissitude" is something no one ever uses in their daily lives but something that often comes up in the newspaper. Appreciate such usages and if ever it comes in the exam, well lucky you! :)

Besides the fact that is given by Harikrishnan, I firmly believe that regular reading habit attributes to good wriiten as well as spoken English. Make it a regular habit of reading newspaper atleast 2 hours in a day and one good magazine/week and a good novel/15 days. These is the minimum requirement to be adopted in order to hold good command over english
