Lot of students at IIMA or any other IIM do come from vernacular medium and have regional language as their primary language in thieir education so hindi as language shall not create any issue.

Hi
You are as much eligible to apply to any IIM, as other aspirants are. The launguage of instruction at IIMs and other b-schools is English, thus it is very important to have a command over English. You said that your basics are clear...so I would suggest that you read a lot of English newspapers, magazines and novels...watch english movies. Be hand ready with a dictionary while reading so you are able to refer to it as soon as you come across a difficult or unknown word. This will help improve your word power, but remember to understand the usage of word rather than just mugging its meaning.

Hi! You are absolutely eligible irrespective of your main tongue, provided you fulfilled the other criteria. To be honest though, you should devote to be fluent in english incase you are interested in MBA because there is a GD/PI battle mandatory! in IIMs or any B-schools. You will be fine still. Goodluck
