MBA is not only for getting high salary it is about overall career advancement. It will help you to shift from specific area to general management .It will impart you to learn new skills to survive the competitive world. High salary is just one of the criteria.

Doing MBA for just sake of salary may put you in a difficult situation as MBA is just not about salary and there is more in terms of career change, long term ROI ( another MBA tterm) and issue of job satisfaction.

If your sole criterion of doing MBA is just for sake of salary I wont advise you to go for it as many times lot of MBA start salary lower than what they are getting at but many times in longer run they do much better.

So go for it in case you are looking for diff career, diff career path and offcourse more moolah think about MBA otherwise you might be doing well in your same job
