I appeared for CAT and GMAT this year. Was not able to get through SP Jain through GMAT...hoping to make it through CAT...what is the minimum cut-off?

Hi

SP Jain had already called aspirants through GMAT scores. Further shortlisting will be done through CAT 2011 and XAT 2012 scores.

The minimum  score required to get the final offer is 85 percentile in
CAT 2011 / XAT 2012. 

Through GMAT it give calls to candidates having scored at least 680.

SP Jain follows a two stage process for selecting people for GD PI. First profile based calls are given and then on the basis of your cat %ile final calls are given. The first stage list is already out. Check http://admissions.spjimr.org/pgdm_portal/login.aspx

 

If your name is there in this list you would require a minimum of 85 %ile in cat results with a minimum of 75%ile each in every section to get a call for the interview process

85%ile for SP Jain but it is profile based college but get higher percentile for more preferability

WHAT KIND OF PROFILE THEY ARE EXPECTING FROM A CANDIDATE?
CAUSE AM AN AVERAGE STUDENT SCORED 84% IN 10TH , 72% IN HSC, AND 66% IN MY GRADUATION....(BBM CA).... I DNT HAV ANY WORK EXPERIENCE.... SO CAN I EXPECT A CALL FROM SPJIMR WITH THIS PROFILE.... AM EXPECTING A 90 PERCENTILE CUTOFF IN CAT 2012.... SO PLZ REPLY DEAR FRIENDS.............
